VOTE

 HEDGEHOG!

The latest BBC Wildlife Magazine has a poll "What's your favourite British Mammal" on page 47.

Last time this was done (in 2000) hedgehogs came third after dolphins and foxes.  We need to rectify this and get hedgehogs to the top spot this time!

Please get a copy of the magazine and vote hedgehog!

UPDATE (June 2008): 

The spring relocation has ended, once again Scottish Natural Heritage handed over the hedgehogs they caught to Uist Hedgehog Rescue for release onto the mainland.  In total we received 192 hedgehogs from them this year.
