The Littlest Hoglet on Europe’s biggest screen!
We’re delighted to announce that The Littlest Hoglet has been featured on Piccadilly Lights in London – the biggest screen in Europe.
Our animation The Littlest Hoglet received a special mention in the final of the Big Syn Film Festival’s 2025 Piccadilly Lights Spotlight category after gaining the most public votes on Instagram.
This special mention from judges at the international sustainability film festival means that our short film was screened on the famous outdoor screen at Piccadilly on November 15th for all the world to see.

The Littlest Hoglet
Created with production company Liquona and narrated by environmentalist Chris Packham, The Littlest Hoglet follows the misadventures of a young hedgehog who unwittingly teaches us how to make our gardens safer, more welcoming spaces for hedgehogs.
The film spotlights how hedgehog populations in the UK are in serious decline, and highlights practical actions we can take the help them. This is an important message, as hedgehogs are a key indicator species, and if they are not coping well, it should ring alarm bells for other species – including humans.

Fay Vass, Chief Executive of BHPS said “We’re delighted to be selected by the judges at Big Syn – and to see our little film on that huge Piccadilly Lights screen is just amazing! Huge thanks go to Liquona for bringing the Littlest Hoglet to life, Chris Packham for giving his time and his voice to support our cause, and to all our fans and followers who voted!
“The Littlest Hoglet helps us spread the word about all the things we can do to help hedgehogs not only survive in the wild but to thrive. For it to be recognised by the film industry and seen by even more people means so much to us and our dwindling hedgehog populations.”
Nathan Erasmus and Tom Hooker, Littlest Hoglet Directors, Liquona.com, said “We love it when two passions collide— and for us there’s nothing more rewarding than using our filmmaking skills to promote conservation!”
